Dodge ball has long been a part P.E. classes and students should still be allowed to play. Although I think that some parts of the activity need to be changed to make it more enjoyable for all students and skill levels. Dodge ball helps build fundamental and specialized movement skills, with a few changes it could help build affective aspects as well. Some changes could be using objects as targets instead of people. Also if all students were able to play on the at the same level, for example if they all used their weak hand, it would make the game more fair. There are many ways to alter the game of dodge ball to make more safe and enjoyable for all students, and if these variations are used it should be allowed to be played in schools.
